In August of 2011 a group of Puget Sound skaters spent the weekend at RollerPalooza camping, skating, and dreaming of an ideal league situation. September 1st 2011 Rainier Roller Girls opened its doors as an official non-profit amateur sports league.
Rainier Roller Girls are working towards WFTDA membership and hope to expand, ultimately having a travel team, a B team, a "Fresh Meat" squad, a junior league, and a rec league.
We believe all is possible with a little elbow grease, an amazing support system, and loyal fans.
